Our Mission

Helping every mother be on top of her breastfeeding journey

We want to help you be confident and proactive in your breastfeeding journey, through personal feedback and support

We want to empower breastfeeding moms to understand their cues and what it means for each unique mother-infant dyad. Your milk can uniquely reflect on how effective is your breastfeeding routine. We are here to give you access, help you understand and benefit from your own progress, and help you navigate informatively. We believe that any mother can learn from understanding and visualizing her progress. We also care about accelerating human milk research, for advancing science and for practical implementation in building new tools to make life better for parents and families.

We understand YOU.

As mothers, we understand the challenges of early parenthood, and helping mothers with their personal parenting journey is our goal. Starting from breastfeeding, an “all in” task for new moms. We want to give parents control over their journey. We see how our tools help mothers and make a difference for them and we are here to transform breastfeeding experience and success.

Backed by science.

We believe in science. Our solutions are integrating scientific knowledge with vast in-house generated evidence. With the accumulating data, we strive to continue improving and optimizing our algorithms and user experience.

Meet MyMilk Team

Our founders story

MyMilk was envisioned based on our founders’ personal breastfeeding journeys. Dr. Shechter gave birth to her second son, and Haramati to her first daughter shortly after life sciences PhD graduation, from the respected Weizmann Institute of Science. Sharon faced many breastfeeding challenges, including persistent pain, and struggled with milk supply and baby's weight gain. She struggled for months, seen every consultant possible, and still felt left alone in her breastfeeding journey, eventually overcoming most struggles and sustaining a long breastfeeding journey. Ravid story is different, she did not had problem with her milk supply, but was a working pumping mom, and overcame breastfeeding pain challenges. Ravid and Sharon have realized that while there is constant monitoring during pregnancy, there are basically no objective monitoring solutions for supporting self and remote care. Eventually both Ravid and Sharon have successfully breastfed their babies for over 9 years accumulatively, however, understanding the statistics they know this is rare. 9 out of 10 mothers face breastfeeding difficulties, 6 out of each 10 women stop breastfeeding before they desire, and only 2 out of 10 women stand with health authorities recommendations for prolonged breastfeeding. Based on their own needs and experience, and understanding other mother's needs, MyMilk was built as a personal data-powered monitoring and self care tool for helping breastfeeding mothers with challenges that became even more prominent during the COVID-19 pandemic . They established the first human milk dedicated clinical-standard laboratory, and basically transformed human milk to new powerful data source for new mothers and their babies. Thousands of milk samples were tested in MyMilk laboratories, enabling the in-house R&D driving the development of the MyLee.
