Consumer-centred health for new mothers and their babies

Personalized data-powered tool for breastfeeding moms

Our Mission

Empower mothers by personal data-powered tools for promoting mother and baby health.

Our core values

Decoding breastmilk is our exciting journey.

We want to empower breastfeeding moms to understand their breastmilk biodata and what it means for each unique mother-infant dyad. Human milk uniquely reflects you and your baby health, and your breastfeeding process. We are here to give you access, understand and benefit from your own human milk. We believe that any mother can learn from understanding her milk. And yes, we also want to dramatically accelerate human milk research, for advancing science and generating new tools for moms.

We know breastfeeding science!

We know the science beyond breastfeeding. We transform your milk to a powerful data-source for you. Because breastfeeding is your baby’s health foundation, and our main mission.

We understand YOU.

We are here for new mothers and their babies. We understand motherhood, and helping mothers with their personal parenting journey is our goal. Starting from breastfeeding, an“all in” task for new moms. We want to give mothers control over their breastfeeding data. We have seen how our tools help mothers and make a difference in their breastfeeding journey, and their motherhood experience. We are here for transforming breastfeeding experience and success to new mothers.

Backed by science.

We believe in numbers, evidences, proof. We make science- based decisions. We use data to better understand parenting. To reveal mother and infant wellness and health. We bring the science to mothers’ hands, helping them to take better parenting decisions. We are not just fed by science, but also advance parenting related science discoveries. we know that great discoveries come from joining efforts, and need you to take part.

Meet MyMilk Team

Our founders story

MyMilk was envisioned based on our founders’ personal breastfeeding journeys. Dr. Shechter gave birth to her second son, and Haramati to her first daughter shortly after life sciences PhD graduation, from the respected Weizmann Institute of Science. Sharon facedmany breastfeeding challenges, including persistent pain and struggled with milk supply while her baby did not gain enough weight. She straggled for months, seen every consultant possible, and still felt left alone in her breastfeeding journey. Ravid story is different, she did not had problem with her milk supply, but was constantly worried with her milk quality. Shechter is at risk for low vitamin absorption, constantly monitored during her pregnancy, but was not monitored at all during her breastfeeding, although her baby was still, like during pregnancy, exclusively dependent on her own body. Ravid and Sharon have realized that while there is constant monitoring during pregnancy, there are basically no objective monitoring solutions for individual breastfeeding. Eventually both Ravid and Sharon have successfully breastfed their babies for over two years each, but understanding the statistics they know this is rare. 6 out of each 10 women stop breastfeeding before they desire, and only 2 out of 10 women stand with health authorities recommendations for prolongedbreastfeeding. Based on their own needs and experience MyMilk was built as a personal data-powered monitoring tool for breastfeeding mothers. They established the first human milk dedicated clinical-standard laboratory, and basically transformed human milk to new powerful data source for new mothers and their babies. MyMilk laboratories was built on the solid foundations of Science.
